Hello, dear indie authors! 🌙
If you’ve poured your heart into a story and want someone to curl up with it and give an honest, heartfelt review… you’ve found the right corner of the internet. I love championing indie stories, but my reviews live on my YouTube channel (not the blog).
Below you’ll find everything you need to know about submitting your book—along with the boundaries that keep this process cozy, respectful, and sustainable for both of us. 🌿✨
I cannot wait to read all about your book!
Before You Submit:
Submissions are currently: OPEN ✨
For the first year, I’ll be taking on only 6 ARCs so I can give each story the attention it deserves.
Important: Please watch my YouTube book reviews – especially the Rebel Witch review – before submitting so you know my review style. I want every author to be comfortable with how I share my thoughts.
🌿 Coven Guidelines for Reviews 🌿
This is important, so please read before submitting:
I read at my own pace. Reviews take time. Please don’t DM or email asking when your video will be up—I’ll reach out to you if I need something.
Reviews happen after I finish (and sometimes re-read). I like to sit with a book before filming so I can reflect and give a thorough, thoughtful review. That means your video won’t appear instantly after I finish reading.
Reviews go on YouTube. They are public, honest, and from the heart. If you haven’t yet, please watch a few so you know what to expect.
No review previews will be provided. Reviews are created independently and shared publicly once they’re ready. I don’t send drafts, scripts, or early viewings before the video is live. Please trust my process and know that every review is handled with honesty and care. 🌿
Respectful space. I will always approach your story with care and honesty. In return, I ask that authors respect my process and timeline.
Not every book can be accepted. If submissions are closed or your ARC isn’t chosen, that doesn’t mean your book isn’t worthy—only that my cauldron is full. ✨
How to submit:
Send me your ARC request with:
- Book title & author name
- Genre & page count
- The ARC’s format (PDF, EPUB, MOBI, etc.) – not the actual document
- Expected release date
- Date Feedback is Due
- A short blurb about your book
🔮 Consequences of Breaking Coven Guidelines
The coven runs on respect and trust. If an author chooses not to honor these boundaries—especially around messaging or pressuring me about reviews—here’s what will happen:
One reminder only. If you DM/email me asking for updates on your ARC review, I’ll gently remind you of the guidelines.
Second time = removal. If it happens again, your ARC will be set aside, and I will not finish or post a review of your book.
Future submissions closed. Authors who ignore these boundaries will not be eligible for future ARC consideration.
I want this to be a cozy, supportive space for indie authors and for myself—but cozy doesn’t mean without structure. Respecting these boundaries ensures I can continue offering reviews with joy, care, and honesty. 🌿
Didn't get into the current round of ARC reading?
Book Queue Suggestion Form
That’s okay! You still can submit your book to my Book Queue Suggestion Form.
This list guarantees that I will read your book and you will go into the review stack (which is every fluxing depending on creative energy).
Amazon Wishlist
My TBR is ever growing and being added to. But this list helps me decide what I’m going to read next by seeing what I already own to read (because that gets prioritized first) and then move on to items that are on my wishlist on Amazon.
While I hate supporting Amazon, I understand that they have opened the doors for so many self-published authors that I refuse to let that go. As that is the case, the Amazon Wishlist exists until I have the ability for a PO Box this is how it will have to function.
However, if you know of other options I can use so that no one gets my address to be stalker like, I will gladly switch!
The Queue
In this google sheet, you will be able to see:
- What I am currently reading
- What (if any) rec’d books are moved up the queue because they were purchased
- Where I am in Owned section
- What is on my wishlist
