Influenster Olay VoxBox

Hey, Belles & Beaux!

Disclaimer: This post is not sponsored in any way. I receive the VoxBoxes for free from Influenster and am not compensated in any way monetarily. I am compensated by completing reviews on items I am sent and put in for more Vox Boxes to review in the future.

Now that that is out of the way, let’s get down to the nitty gritty!

UntitledI usually try to use these things for at least a week or two to get a feel for them. It helps me give an honest review here as well as on Influenster. I’ve bene using it for a couple weeks now and I can say that I’m not a huge fan of either product. Also, I’ve had to keep this product completely under wraps in a way because I received this before it hit stores.

For the Olay Charcoal Clay Stick Face Mask, I’m a slight disappointed, but still in love with it. I have a clay mask that is essentially the same thing in a way but it is much thicker and seems to pull out a great deal more of the crud that likes to sink into my pores or clear out a pimple. I’m going to do a separate review for it in the coming weeks.

But I can’t say all bad things about this mask.

UntitledYes, it does leave my skin feeling a little dry after I use it and my skin likes to hold onto some of the grey aftermath once I wash it off. But I have noticed a major change in my skin since I started using it in tangent with my normal routine. I’ve been having major issues with small pimples coming up around my chin and then on my forehead. This had almost reduced them completely. I’ve been using it daily in the evenings when I get home from work as one of my decompressing methods. If it’s going to do this amazing stuff to my skin, then I’m definitely not going to complain a lot about it. I’m quite enjoying the change in my skin and I will definitely be purchasing this product.

Now, the Olay Ultimate Hydration Essence Calming Mist was a little different experience. Did I noticed a difference in my skin’s moisture retention? No. I did, however, sleep much better at night after using it on my face. The suggestion of holding it 5-10 inches away from your face does nothing to actually get the spray on you, so I suggest moving it a little closer when you spray. Worth it? To me, not so much. So I most likely will not be purchasing this.

I obviously liked the mask better than the spray. Would I probably buy the spray if it continues to help me sleep at night? Possibly. Am I definitely buying the mask? Heck yes. I’m in love with how well it has helped clear my skin up in the two weeks I’ve been using it, but I’ll keep using my thicker one for those difficult pimples that suddenly pop up.

I hope you all enjoy this new review and feel that you want to check these products out for yourself. Olay has out done themselves this time in my opinion – at least with the mask.

XOXO,

Trula Marie
