Celebrity Crushes

Hey, belles & beaus!

Happy Friday Eve! Today we’re going to be taking a break and do a fun about me post. Like I don’t already overshare with y’all. But let’s talk Hollywood. More precisely my favorite celebrities… Well my males at least.

So yes, my Game of Thrones obsession is bad. Alas, Kit, Jason, and the rest don’t make this list nor do they touch my three celebrity crushes. These three seem to be genuinely nice and absolute dolls on top of their amazing acting skills!

Sebastian Stan

Best known for his role as James “Bucky” Buchanan Barnes in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Sebastian Stan’s career has seen an uptake with more movies coming out including I, Tonya and a few others including a movie where he played Meryl Streep’s son! But before he was our darling Bucky, Mr. Stan was in a little film called The Covenant. IF you haven’t seen it before you saw him in the MCU, then I don’t feel like you’re a real fan but that’s just me. It was his first film and he played the villain. It’s still my favorite of his films.

To me, Sebby is just a doll. He’s very thoughtful of his fans and he still does Covenant cast reunions with Chase Crawford, Toby Hemmingway, and Taylor Kitsch! That was their first major film where they all basically headlined so it’s a brotherhood in a way. As far as his acting goes, Seb is extremely talented with a range of total awesomeness.

Theo James

My first introduction to this lovely man was when he first appeared in Underworld: Awakening as David. It was one of, if not his first movie and the rumor was that they were actually going to just let his character die in the movie. But everyone love his acting so much that they decided to let Kate’s character bring him back from the dead. The Underworld fandom is very happy with the decision either way.

Because I enjoyed his acting – plus Theo is a cutie – I started watching his work closely. I chose not to watch him in Downton Abbey because well.. he dies okay? Not much enjoyment there. Everything else that Theo has done has been amazing though! His latest movies for the Divergent series were on point for his acting, though the later two of the three films diverged far from the books. He was the perfect choice to play Four/Tobias Eaton and I will definitely stand behind that.

He seems like an amazing. And I’d honestly love to meet him. His acting career touches macho but his characters have a good deal of emotional depth to them that is not really all that normal. The best case I can give you is when he played in the show Golden Boy – which I’m still mad it didn’t get a second season. The part he played in it was that of the youngest police commissioner in the history of the City of New York.

But all his characters are kind of cut from the same cloth which difference between them. David is still my favorite part he’s played just because of the growth David has had between two movies.

Chris Evans

Last but not least is Captain America… I mean Steve Rog… I mean Chris Evans.

I mean… I could write a lot about this amazing man. Despite his social anxiety – which crippled him for a solid hour at Wizard Con last year because some girl thought it was okay to just walk up and kiss him -, Chris has been an amazing person to his fans. Despite the incident mentioned previously, he came back and finished the photo ops with the fans that had come. He has spoken up in politics and calling out the idiots in D.C. on their idiocy.

Which is why it’s really had not to want to call him Captain America/Steve Rogers. He named his dog Dodger for crying out loud! I mean, it could be a coincidence that the Dodgers used to be the Brooklyn team before they were sold elsewhere. But I choose not to believe in coincidences -it’s a Gibbs rule.

Sure, Chris is hot. But his personality is so much hotter. More hot? I don’t know but the point is what did we as the people of the world do to deserve him? And God I hope he never sees this. This might as well be an ode to him.

But really! Chris just seems like this all around great guy and I think he would be awesome to sit and talk with about politics. Yes, I’m rambling and I fully admit it. He’s just so… Chill? I don’t know how to describe him anymore.

But there you have it. My celebrity crushes.

I hope your Friday Eve is amazing!

XOXO,

Trula Marie
