Maybelline Fit Me Matte + Poreless Foundation

Another Foundation Review?!

Belles & Beaus, this is definitely a first impressions post.

Yet again one of my favorite YouTubers (leighannsays) has set me off on another foundation to try, but this time it’s a drugstore brand!

As you all know from my chronicling here on the blog, I’ve been having a problem with my cool undertones + my completely snowy white complexion. My foundation just keeps turning pink! Now the Tarte foundation I’ve been using lately has seemed to keep that to a very small amount, unless I happen to be looking at it up close because I have problems. I have full on plans to be officially matched for the Fenty collection and give it a test drive as well considering the recent affirmation by an female albino that she found something that matched her. So there is hope.

But for now let’s stick to the Maybelline Fit Me Matte & Poreless. I ended up picking this foundation up in the lightest shade they have which is the 102 Fair Porcelain. I know! They made a shade lighter than the plain Porcelain! But I put some on the back of my hand and walked around the store with it to see how is oxidized. To be honest, I couldn’t even tell where it was on my hand at all! I mean I knew where I put it, but you just couldn’t plainly see that it was there. Talk about my kind of foundation!

This foundation also boasts to be good for oily skin. I went straight home and did a full face of it. I still swear that I never knew I had put a single drop of it on my face. My mother didn’t even ask “Do you have foundation on?” when she got home that afternoon. Usually it’s decently noticeable on me because I’m so pale that no foundation truly blends in! But this foundation surprised me in a big way.

I actually have a couple days this week where I’m going to be full face makeup so I’ll have a deeper review at a later date on it, but for now I’m seriously blown away with what I have experienced do far. I might even try mixing it with one of my Bare Minerals foundations to see if it will help with the pinkness! I definitely love it so far, so I’m almost certain I’ll love it when I get to see how it wears for a full day!
