It’s Out!

Ya’ll, forgive my not normal opening…. BUT IT’S HERE!!!!!

IT’S HERE! IT’S HERE! IT’S HERE!

Forgive my excitement, belles & beaus, but I absolutely cannot contain this amount of excitement. As some of you might have figured out, I am a bit of a fangirl. Okay, not a bit. I am an absolute fangirl and I fly my flag proudly.

But okay, so mumsy and I went to watch my niece play softball last night and had dinner. Well we needed a small bit of groceries, so we headed to the good old Wal*Mart for them, and what would you know was sitting on the newly released display as you walked past the produce?

Star Wars: Rogue One.

Now the Star Wars franchise is what originally got me hooked into the world of Sci-Fi when I was maybe four or five years old. Mumsy had gotten us the original three for Christmas around that time and I became addict – to more than just Star Wars. I’m referencing the darling Harrison Ford as well.

But the point is, I’m absolutely in love with all these movies. I actually got to see the movies where they went back and told the beginning of the Empire’s takeover and a certain someone turning to the dark side. I refuse to say who so if you want to know or have been living under a rock and just don’t know, then go watch the movies. And watch them in correct order: 4-6. 1-3, Rogue One, 4-6 (again because you’ll need the refresher), and then 7.

Ya’ll, I went and saw this with someone and I was on my toes the entire time! Like, you finally understand how they got the Death Star plans in Episode IV: A New Hope. It has like a super sad ending, I’m going to tell you that up front. But when you know that in the end of A New Hope they accomplish what they began setting out to do in Rogue One.

There is only one thing that I still question to this day…. And I’m gonna need J.J. Abrams or George Lucas to answer it sooner or later. Like I really need this answered because to me it’s a big plot device. But I can’t share the question here with ya’ll because I refuse to spoil it all.

But I can tell you that I’ve officially watched Rogue One three times… And I feel that while I try the tutorial for my makeup that I’m wanting to try, that I might just marathon all eight movies. I don’t work until Sunday all day so I can so get away with it. Plus it might help reset my sleep schedule. I don’t know. We shall see.

But if you haven’t given Star Wars a try, then I highly suggest giving it one! You will never regret it if you fall in love with it. It’s just one of my nerd flag waving movies.

What are some movies/shows/comics that get your nerd flag waving? Feel free to share in the comments!

XOXO,

Trula Marie
