What’s New & What’s Next

I know it’s been a while since I posted on here and I apologize. Life has been a little hectic but also so much fun which means content creation has been slightly put on the back burner. But we are back and I have a lot of things to update you on.
So grab yourself a drink and snack because this one is gonna be a long one.
GoFundMe
If you haven’t seen my posts on any of my social medias (with the exception of the Facebook Page), I am currently in the process of raising funds for a surgery that is medically necessary as well as one that I have been fighting to get for a while. I honestly never expected this to happen this year because I thought I would be fighting my insurance to get it approved and need more medical evidence as to why this was necessary.
As that is the case, I am being vulnerable and asking for help. I’ve linked the GoFundMe in the heading and would appreciate it if you could share it and donate if possible. The more eyes we get on it, the more likely I am to hit my goal so that this doesn’t completely ruin me financially which is the goal. This is seriously just to cover the costs of the surgery and only that. Any funds that are unused will be returned if they are in GoFundMe and if they are not, then I’ll figure out somewhere to donate them.
Hearth, Heart, & Rituals
I finally launched my podcast at the end of 2025 after I took some time to figure out what I wanted to do with it. Essentially HHR, as it is being shorthanded, is going to function as a audio journal type thing with specific topics that I may or may not cover on the blog – sometimes they feel like they just need to live in audio format.
Additionally to this, any episode companions will not live here on the blog as HHR – while part of the Magnolias & Crystals brand – is a separate entity. You can find all those companion pieces on Substack for the typical episodes. There will be Patreon/Paid Subscriber exclusive episodes that exist – the first one is already up on Patreon – in which you get a little more in depth views behind the scenes and those will occasionally be accompanied by companion posts with the release.
Blog Updates
Accessibility
As I’m sure you all have seen, the blog looks different and in the best way. We are still working some kinks out regarding accessibility and other formatting items so please hang tough with us while we work those out. I am currently in the process of adding alternate text to all images on the blog – it is just going to take some time.
We have updated the Privacy Policy page as well as added on the Accessibility Statement page. If you have any helpful tips so that I can make the site more accessible to you, please do not hesitate to reach out using the Contact Form. While I cannot promise that everything will always be perfect, I am willing to receive feedback and apply it to the best of my ability because you as my reader deserve to be able to access my site with ease.
Blog & Category Posts
If you’ve been waltzing around the newly revamped blog, you will have most likely noticed that the Blog Posts Page – now called From the Grimoire – and the categories all show up as cards. To be honest, this is because I couldn’t for the life of me figure out how to make the featured images center along side the excerpts the way I originally had it. Plus, I will say that the cards feel a tiny bit cleaner than the way I used to have.
You may additionally notice that the top level categories have descriptions. I will slowly be adding descriptions to the sub categories. Ideally the menu under From the Grimoire will be turning into a Mega Menu but it will take time to craft so again your patience is appreciated in advance. Again I want to make this easy for you guys to navigate so just hang tough!
New Extras (And Some Revamped Old Ones)
Yes, you read that right! There are new things under Extras starting with the HHR Social Media Page. Additionally there are the Magnolia Coven Community and the Magnolia Coven ARC Reading & Reviews pages.
The Magnolia Coven Community focuses on where you can support the blog in different ways from joining the Discord Server to joining one of the two support tiers on my Patreon. There is also currently a Ko-Fi option for single time supports but that does not get you all the behind the scenes goodies because I honestly am probably going to be getting rid of it so that I can focus on the Patreon. It also has the Discord FAQ included as a sub page.
The Magnolia Coven ARC Reading & Review page is a for my Indie Authors who I really want to start supporting more than just buying their books. You can learn more about this page, my Pango Book Store, and the future of my book reviews by going to my YouTube channel and viewing the video “Micro Life Update + Big Changes for My Book Community“.
The other items on the Extras tab include the updated Twitch Page that was previously in existence but has seen a little revamp along side the YouTube page. Both now include what I have fondly called the “Frequently Unasked Questions” information so that you know what you’re viewing on the different pages.

As of right now, these are all the updates I have for you. Things will continue to be improved slowly but surely and I cannot wait to hear what you all think about the updates as they are brought to life.
