Sleeping Soundly: Lessons from a No-Tech Bedroom

I decided to try sleeping without technology in my bedroom, moving my laptop and Apple TV out of reach. The change was surprisingly transformative: I slept more soundly and woke up feeling more rested. Even after reintroducing my devices, I’ve learned how creating a tech-free sleep environment—or at least limiting distractions—can drastically improve rest and overall well-being.

Simplified Skincare: My Current Routine

My skincare routine has evolved a lot since my last update. Some products stayed, some were swapped out, and I’ve streamlined the process to focus on what truly works for my skin. From cleansing with E.L.F. and CBD soap to toning with witch hazel, massaging in eye cream with my jade roller, and finishing with sunscreen and moisturizer, this routine is both practical and pampering. I’ve slimmed it down, but it still covers all the essentials to keep my skin healthy and radiant.

Katherine’s Journey: From Check-Up to Heart Check

Katherine had her regular vet visit, and what was supposed to be a routine check-up turned into something a bit more serious. Dr. McGuire discovered a heart murmur, and while it could just be stress or weight-related, we’re running some tests to be sure. Thankfully, her first results came back normal, and we’re moving ahead with a basic echo to learn more. For now, we’re keeping things calm, focusing on playtime, sunshine, and snuggles. As always, I’ll keep you updated as we figure this out together.
