On National Undies Day of all Days

Hello, lovely soul,

If you follow me on Instagram, then you know that this post has been an extremely long time coming considering how much I praise them.

It’s also National Undies Day and this felt appropriate to post in all locations.

If you only follow me here on the blog, then I am happy to introduce you to Hey, Mavens!

Green Velvet Set from St. Patrick’s Day featuring Ms. Katherine Elizabeth. Also for reference, I am a Medium in my Bottoms and a HM (a specialty size) in my top.

There are two parts to this post that will explain the hyperlink so please please please read this post in its entirety. I’m super excited for the second part of this and excited to share it with you all.

If you’re a little thrown off by the categories I have placed this in, then please let me quickly explain. I find that Hey, Mavens! is a magicakal store with its own special brand of magick to be body neutral and creating pieces that are meant to just make you feel good no matter your body or gender. Which to me is also a good piece of Glamour Magick. Thus my category selections for this post.

So time to get into it!

First off, me gushing my guts out about Hey, Mavens! and the beautiful souls who work there.

For a bit of history, Hey, Mavens! was founded by Annika Chaloff in 2018 after rebranding her bridal lingerie side hustle Married & Bright. Not only is this a woman owned business, but it is also an LGBTQIA+ business as well. Every piece of lingerie is made by the fabulous team at Hey, Mavens! which I remind regularly how much I love them.

Their biggest staples are the velvet bras & undies that have been around since I first discovered them. The original rainbow of velvets are absolutely all beautiful.

In 2021, Annika opened the brick and mortar shop over in East Nashville. If you are local, I highly recommend checking the shop out because every one of the shopkeepers are amazing. However, they are closed on Mondays just as a heads up.

I started my collection in 2021 with what I believe was maybe my red velvet bra, but I also think it might have been my leopard undies. It’s hard to remember where the line started but I truly hope it never ends because the whole team is just amazing.

Red Set in the Solids Collection (Click the picture to be taken to this buttery fabric). Also for reference, I am a Medium in my Bottoms and a HM (a specialty size) in my top.

Now in 2022, the team has launched a new rainbow line that expands upon the styles. Their new rainbow jersey line – which honestly the fabric is like a non velvet velvet because it is like butter – comes in three different top styles and three different bottoms. They have kept the original styles of the wrap and triangle bras, but included a bandeau version this year as well. The undies are still thong and high rise, but they did a combination that I was not expecting to fall in love with – a high rise thong.

As someone who has never been a fan of thongs, I now have two high rise thongs and am thoroughly just as in love with them as I am the normal high rise.

As you might have noted earlier, I did state that I have a collection of Hey, Mavens! pieces. Right now, I am sitting at eight full sets and then two bras that are currently sitting solo.

If you are curious which ones those are, I have two velvet sets respectfully – green and red. There is also the now retired leopard print, the winter cottagecore woodland animals print, the magic potions print, and three sets of the jersey – two sets of red and one set of blue. Those singletons? I have another magic potions bralette as well as their first split velvet one which is a beautiful baby pink and the red from Valentine’s 2022.

Need a yoga top? All of the wrap bralettes in my opinion are PERFECTION for yoga classes. Pictured here is the Magic Potions Bralette from the 2021 Spooky Collection.

Now here’s where I bring up that part two and reference that link up there. I didn’t want to put the warning at the beginning of this post because I figured it would give the game away. However, going forward I will be establishing if there are affiliate links in a post.

So if you clicked on that link to take you to the Hey, Mavens! website, then you saw that it was a reference link. Your girl, as of July, is now an affiliate for Hey, Mavens!

You can support me via the links I post in regards to what outfits I wear and you can use my code “MAGNOLIASANDCRYSTALS” for ten percent off your purchase from Hey, Mavens!

I really am still shocked that this happened, and if you’re reading this, Annika & Crew, thank you so much for giving me this opportunity!

So with that, I’m going to tell you all to go have fun and do some shopping. With their new extended sizes, you should have no issue finding your size and if you do? There’s a beautiful crew behind Hey, Mavens! that can help you figure it out.

Happy shopping!
