Fourth Day of Yuletide
Hello, lovelies!
On this beautiful fourth day of Yuletide where the south is going through a random December heatwave – like literally it was 60 degrees yesterday while mom and I were at Lynchburg touring the Jack Daniel’s Distillery – we are going to switch gears from decor to one of my favorite cleansing things, simmer pots.
The last simmer pot that I did was in 2020 during the pandemic in October. So it is safe to say that it has definitely been a while since I have done one. However, they still continue to be one of my favorites as it is easy to set intentions with what you use.
For my Yuletide simmer, I chose to use the following:
- lemons for longevity and purification
- oranges for prosperity
- cinnamon to help protect the intentions
- cloves to draw in riches
- ginger to heat up the intentions
- nutmeg for health and luck
- all spice for the coming changes
That last one I will expand on a little more in the future because it is super exciting, but I need to get things in order before I share the good news here.
In truth, I hope you choose to do a simmer pot of your own. Research into the types of fruits or herbs that you want to use in it and select them based on the intentions you want to draw into your year.
Blessed Yuletide,
Trula Marie
