A Review
Hello, Lovelies!
It’s been a while since I’ve done a proper skincare product review but we’re back! When Ulta announced they would begin carrying the line of belif products, I almost cried because for the longest time they were only being sold at Sephora and let’s be honest, I much prefer shopping at Ulta. They have a better points reward program in comparison to Sephora but you’re not here for that. You’re here for my thoughts on this eye cream.
A few years ago when I had made a purchase at Sephora, I received a sample of this eye cream and it blew my mind. See, I have issues with dark circles as well as some bags on occasion because of shitty sleep. We keep it real here. Don’t like the cursing, then go elsewhere.
So I had tried this sample, fell in love with what the product did in one use, and then just never pulled the trigger on buying the nearly $60 container of the product. I know, I know. Why didn’t you?
Well to be honest at the time, it just wasn’t fiscally responsible of me at the time. And now I’m much more secure in my finances from personal work, I chose to finally pull the trigger and get it going. This mess has been amazing with my eyes. I’m always going to have some darkness under my eyes but this really helps me feel less puffy.
Most of my puffiness is caused by eating something largely salty so Taco Bell has been off the menu for a while now. Not an option when it makes me feel really cruddy the next morning. But I still have some general puffiness that is just natural and massaging it away will only do so much.
I don’t believe the product is really meant to help with puffiness but for me it does so it’s an added plus. I don’t keep this refrigerated but I’m sure one of those cosmetic mini-fridges would do it wonders. I just keep it on the counter at my vanity and just put it on every morning before I walk out the door for work and then every evening before I call it a night.
I would highly recommend it if you struggle with bags under your eyes and darkness because this has been helpful in making it less apparent – especially when I haven’t slept well the night before.
Light & Love,
Trula Marie
