My New Favorite Mask

I’m back with my favorite thing in the whole entire world: PRODUCT REVIEW!

I don’t know why, but I love doing these here on the blog as well as on Influenster – who sent me this in my latest voxbox for free!!! That’s right, y’all. And if you don’t know what Influenster is, then you need to get on board.

Influenster is an awesome website where you can write reviews for products and also be entered to receive free products to try for your honest opinion on the products. There is not one single catch to this. You get free products, then all you have to do is try them and leave and honest review of the products you received.

For me, a lot of the products I have received in the past are pretty darn awesome and I’ve pretty much used them until they no longer exist. Which is why we are talking about my new favorite mask by ApotheCARE Essentials. And yes, I have checked. These products are available at my favorite makeup store, Ulta, so I’m definitely going to be spending my hard earned money on these products when I run out.

Now in my voxbox at the beginning of May, I received the PhytoDefend Clay Mask and one other product along side this that I will be sharing next Thursday. ApotheCARE Essentials states the following on their website about this product:

I absolutely love the idea that this is more on the natural side for products because I have extremely sensitive skin. For me it is hard to find something that doesn’t try me out. I love clay masks but I can never use them all over my face until this one. I can’t use it twice a week but I can use it once a week and love the way my skin feels the next morning.

It was the third use that happened in the same week that revealed my skin couldn’t handle it because I looked like my face had been sunburned. It went away by the next morning, but my skin definitely hated me after it happened. So I have stuck to the once a week and I absolutely love it.

This mask is extremely light weight and smells absolutely amazing. It’s extremely calming and I’ll usually do it on a day where I’ve felt a lot of stress or just need a little extra help unwinding in the evening. My skin doesn’t feel dry after using it, but more as if it has been washed even if I haven’t washed it. I mean, yes you still have to rinse it off, but it’s not really meant to clean your skin.

I would highly recommend this product because it got a full five stars from me. I also reviewed it on their actual website because I absolutely adore this product!
