You’re Going To Want To Watch This

Happy Monday, Belles & Beaux!

It’s been a couple weeks and I’ve been MIA, but with good reason. I’ve been super busy with my regular life and just haven’t felt really all that inspired to write. However, that doesn’t mean that I haven’t been trying new products and having tons of experiences that I’m going to share with you.

Starting with Iliza Shlesinger’s new Netflix Special that was filmed RIGHT HERE in Nashville. That’s right, y’all, Iliza graced us with her presence to film her fifth Netflix special here.

And, Iliza, if you’re reading this I promise I’m not going to ruin a single joke that you told because all of that was gold and I think everyone should have to wait until it comes out. But with that being said…. GRAMS!

That is all.

If you happen to live here in Nashville and went to the show or you flew in for it like the darling woman sitting next to me on Friday night, then you’ll get the reference. The rest of you will have to wait until it is released on Netflix to understand that reference. But trust me when I tell you that it is 100% worth the wait. I laughed until I cried and my cheeks hurt. I swear I feel like I should have abs from the way Iliza had me laughing.

All of this material is of course centered around what has gone on in her life this past year aka getting married to Smokey Husky. Blanche was beautiful in all her Christmas Mouth and Tiny Tips glory.

I really can’t wait to go to another comedy show and hopefully it will be Iliza again because I just love the way she does her shows.

Who’s your favorite comedian?

XOXO,

Trula Marie

  1. I have never heard of any of those names you have mentioned lol!! The last time I went to an actual comedy show I think I was 22? And it was Dane Cook. I am a fan of Kevin Hart, but usually his earlier stuff. There’s a British guy I like too, Michael McIntyre I think! There’s a Wanda Sykes special on Netflix that I have saved to watch as well. I’m just usually not interested in where the comedians take their jokes…as I get older I’m finding them crude and not at all worth my time.
