My New Favorite Mascara

If it’s not obvious, I have a big addiction to Ulta and makeup. I love trying new things and recently dipped into my first Morphe palette that I purchased to create my look for the New Kids on the Block concert last Thursday. It was pretty much my favorite concert experience to date and I want to go see them again. However, this post is not about that.

This is about Tarte’s new mascara called Big Ego. My amazing brow girl told me that if I loved Two Face’s Better Than Sex mascara that I was most likely going to love this one. And yet again, Brittany, you were 100 percent right.

What sold me the most on this one when she was telling me about this one was the fact that it also has fibers in it. I have pretty decent lashes and only occasionally wear falsies. However, I’ll take anything that will make them a little more fake looking without having to wear any falsies. The other thing I love about this is the brush. It is extremely similar to the brush for the Better Than Sex mascara – if not an almost perfect dupe.

I have definitely loved the difference that I’ve been seeing with my lashes when I use this mascara. If I do a smaller winged liner, then I don’t feel like I need to put on my false lashes! And that’s a big deal to me because I love to do my winged liner whenever I have the moment to take my time with my makeup. Big or small, this really helps my lashes fill out more and look longer. Do I still use my falsies? Yes, but only when I do a big winged liner or just need a little extra volume for something special.

All in all, this has been an amazing mascara for the last few weeks and I will definitely be repurchasing. It is a 100 percent recommend for those that love non-silicone mascara brushes.
