Happy Saturday, Belles & Beaux!

I recently got to finally cook dinner for myself last week after living on many different leftovers. I fixed my favorite salmon recipe since I’ve been trying to get more protein in my diet to help with my weight loss and help with my hair growth. After the stress breakage over the summer, I’m trying to give it all the chances it can have to be extra healthy and grow faster!

Typically with my salmon I’ll fix some of my roasted potatoes or maybe just a couple rolls.  It really just depends on what I’m feeling at the moment. I actually fixed myself roasted potatoes last Thursday night when I cooked for myself. So figured I would share how I make them.

I also posted these on the blog’s Instagram stories and they are saved under the highlight entitled “Recipes”. So if you feel like you need to see exactly how I did everything, then you have a video step-by-step over there!

Please share with when you make them using the hashtag #sbgtheblog ! I’d love to see the pictures of how you put your own spin on this easy recipe!

Bon Appétit,

[recipe title=”Easy Roasted Potatoes” servings=”1 – ∞” time=”40 minutes, 10 for prep & 30 for cook time” difficulty=”easy” image=”https://farm8.staticflickr.com/7872/46319922794_5f4b8a971d_b.jpg” description=”Easy to make and absolutely delicious”]

I didn’t put a servings size just because this will work in large batches as well. I also don’t know how much I use of any of the seasonings just because I sprinkle them on them. I don’t put too much salt on them just to cut down on my sodium intake. How much you use it up to you!

[/recipe-notes] [recipe-ingredients]
– Small potatoes of your choice
– Garlic Powder
– Black Pepper
– Salt
– Season All Season Salt
[/recipe-ingredients] [recipe-directions]
1. Spray the pan you are using down with a baking/cooking spray to prevent the potatoes from sticking. I use a corning ware pan that my mother gave me. Turn the oven on 375°F.
2. Peel (optional) and dice you potatoes before placing them in your pan. I cut mine into quarters.
3. Once in the pan, sprinkle your seasonings over the potatoes. I try to just make sure they’re all lightly dusted. Then I take a fork and mix them together to get the seasoning that ended up in the pan on the potatoes.
4. Set timer and place in oven for 15 minutes. Take out when your timer goes off and stir them up again. Then place back in the oven for another 15 minutes. After the second time goes off, you’re potatoes are ready to be eaten!
