My Latest Podcast Love

Good morning, Belles & Beaus!

I obviously have a very big love for all things horror/mystery/true crime in the whole world of podcasts after I got sucked in via Serial Killers nearly a year ago, as well as the occasional fictional pieces such as Limetown and The Black Tapes. My latest obsession – with Tanis completely caught up at the moment with the end of season 4 no where in sight – is Unexplained.

Unexplained is described on its website as “a biweekly podcast about strange and mysterious real life events that continue to evade explanation.” It is a show “that explores the space between what we think of as real and what is not. Where the unknown and paranormal meets the most radical ideas in science today…”

They seem to open every episode with the rest of the description they share on their website so I won’t share that here. But you can click over in the link and check it out yourself.

They’ve been around since 2016 and I’m just now listening because I like to binge-listen to the shows. Right now, I’m two episodes in and I’m truly enjoying it. It’s not very deep, mostly just telling the stories and giving all the information of unexplained stories. For me, it’s interesting hearing about stories that I’ve never known about such as the Polluck Twins – google didn’t let me down and I fully plan to dive into these stories a little deeper once I get WiFi at the apartment.

They also have a book that I’ll most likely purchase along side the Limetown book due to my need to have more books in my life. I’ll hopefully have some new book reviews up on here soon as well.
