Whoop, Whoop!
Good morning, Belles & Beaus!
Despite the dreary weather we are having here in The South today, I’m pretty much in an awesome mood. The Predators won their fourth game against the Avalanches. It was a close game but they won! I’m potentially getting my car back today.
And today Southern Belle Grace turns two.
I didn’t honestly know where I would be going with this journey when I started this blog. If you’ve been here since the beginning then you might remember my post written about how this blog actually started over on Tumblr and that I didn’t like the format so I brought it here to WordPress.
I’m hoping by summer some major changes can come down to the blog if the job situation works out for the better because I’m not going to lie, I’m ready to drop the .wordpress.com bit. However, right now I have to be able to pay the bills and get my own place. Baby steps y’all!
But still, changes will be coming in this next year. I’m really hoping to get a vlog camera by Christmas along side some other things that I think will benefit not just me personally but also benefit the blog as well. So if the vlog camera works out be ready. I’ll be doing at least one vlog as content for a little while so that we can break up the monotony as well as do somethings like makeup tutorials and actual Vlogs for the weekends! I don’t know what I’m going to call them yet, but we shall see.
Also a benefit of this is we will be having at least monthly Chatty Q&A’s that aren’t on Instagram because Youtube let’s you livestream. So there’s that as well. I enjoyed the last Q&A I did because it was really just like a hang out session/Q&A with the chat going on. Plus everyone will be able to see the chat on this one afterwards because they’ll turn into comments when the video is uploaded, so yay for that!

woooo congratulations on the two years! That’s so exciting! I bought my url about 6 months in but didn’t go self-hosting. Is self-hosting what you’re thinking of? That scares me hehe! I’ll just stick with owning my domain name, it’s only like $30 a year so it’s perfect haha
That’s what I’m considering. I really just want to drop the wordpress bit. However, in the future – depending on what is going on – I might go to self-hosting via WordPress.
Buying the domain will allow you to drop the wordpress bit. I think mine is actually only $24 a year buy I added a $10 privacy thing because I blog anonymously. If anyone tries to find the owner of the website they get a random address in the states I think haha
Good to know. I’m also more worried about the media space. I do want to use more photos in the future, but that will require more time on my hands to some degree.
