Two Initiations in One Day

So this weekend was a gear up for a big thing! My friend and women’s fraternity sister, Kelli, and I went to Pi Omicron chapter of Alpha Omicron Pi for a very special event this past weekend. Kelli’s little sister was initiated into our women’s fraternity this past Sunday. As someone who is an only child, it was amazing to get to watch Kelli initiate her little sister.

We pretty much made the day a round trip full of AOΠ because we also attended our chapter’s initiation as well that evening, but the biggest thing was seeing her sister get initiated. It was a long time to wait and watch as she was at the end of the alphabetical order among the initiates, but it was definitely worth all the waiting! It’s nice to finally call her an AOΠ sister. It’s amazing and I’m so proud of her!

Lambda Omicron also initiated five new members! One of which is in my family tree. It wasn’t all I did this past weekend obviously but Sunday was the biggest day because of all the fun and heartwarming moments. I literally am so thankful for all the moments being a member of AOΠ has brought to my life. Sunday was AOΠ only but I absolutely loved every moment of it.
